MacLachlan College wants you to be satisfied with every order. This policy explains when you can return an item and how a refund is issued.
Return window
You may request a return within 30 days of the delivery date. Items must be unused, in the condition you received them, and in their original packaging with any tags or seals intact.
Items that cannot be returned
- Perishable goods, and items that are made to order or personalised for you
- Gift cards and downloadable or digital products
- Items marked final sale at the time of purchase
- Anything returned to us damaged through use after delivery
How to start a return
Contact us with your order number and the reason for the return. We will confirm whether the item qualifies and send you return instructions. Please do not ship an item back before we have confirmed the return, as unannounced returns can be delayed or refused.
Refunds
Once your return arrives and has been inspected, we email you the outcome. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5 to 10 business days of approval. Your bank or card issuer may take additional time to post the credit to your statement.
All refunds are issued in CAD, the currency the order was charged in. We refund the price of the returned item plus any tax charged on it. Original shipping charges and any processing or convenience fee disclosed at checkout are not refundable unless the return is the result of our error.
Return shipping
Unless the item arrived damaged, incorrect, or defective, the customer is responsible for return shipping. We recommend a tracked service, since we cannot issue a refund for a return that does not reach us.
Damaged, defective, or incorrect items
Tell us within 7 days of delivery and include photographs. We will replace the item or refund it in full, including shipping, at no cost to you.
Exchanges
The fastest way to exchange an item is to return the original for a refund and place a new order for the replacement.
Cancellations
An order can be cancelled for a full refund at any point before it ships. Once an order has shipped, the return process above applies.
