This policy explains how MacLachlan College prepares, ships, and delivers your order.
Order processing
Orders are processed on business days, Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays. Most orders are picked and packed within 1 to 2 business days of payment being approved. Orders placed on a weekend or holiday begin processing on the next business day.
If an item is out of stock or an order needs verification before it ships, we contact you at the email address on the order.
Delivery times
Delivery time is the processing time above plus the carrier's transit time. Typical transit times within Canada:
- Standard shipping: 3 to 8 business days
- Expedited shipping: 1 to 3 business days
These are carrier estimates, not guarantees. Weather, carrier volume, and customs can extend them.
Shipping charges
Shipping charges are calculated at checkout from the destination and the weight and size of the order, and are shown to you in CAD before you pay. Any free-shipping threshold in effect is shown on the storefront.
Tracking
When your order ships we email you a tracking number. Tracking can take up to 24 hours to show its first scan after the carrier collects the parcel.
International orders
Orders shipped outside Canada may attract duties, taxes, and customs brokerage fees on arrival. Those charges are set by the destination country and are the responsibility of the recipient.
Incorrect addresses
Please check your shipping address carefully. We are not able to reroute a parcel once it is with the carrier, and an order returned to us because of an incorrect or incomplete address can be reshipped only once the reshipping cost is paid.
Lost, delayed, or damaged parcels
If tracking has not moved for 7 business days, or your parcel arrives damaged, contact us with your order number and we will open a claim with the carrier and make it right.
